Teacher

Anya Oleck is an assistant teacher at Columbus who has been working with kids ages 4-12 for almost 10 years. After finishing her degree at Brooklyn College, will go on to earn her master’s in Early Childhood and Special Education. Anya bring a love for STEM after her work at Curious Jane, an all girls STEM program. She was previously an assistant teacher in Massachusetts, and has taught science after school in Brooklyn for many years.  Anya found her love for teaching in elementary school  from her science teacher, Carmelo The Science Fellow. When not working with kids, Anya loves to cook, be outdoors, and spend time with friends. Her favorite children’s books are The Rainbow Fish and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
