Richard Younger is our music teacher, with whom students enjoy music education. Richard is a celebrity among Columbus students who love their weekly music class. Richard brings experience in childhood education as well as professional musical experience each week, sharing songs and instruments from around the world, as well as enjoying classic favorites with our students.
I am excited to introduce you to the many wonderful things about Columbus Pre-School that made me want to join as director 12 years ago.
Our sun-drenched classrooms, gymnastics studio, and large outdoor space provide diverse experiences that support every aspect of child development. Our nurturing, dedicated early childhood educators deeply respect children, and it shows, from the care put into the aesthetics and functionality of our classrooms, to the provocations set up to spark creativity, from the way students’ ideas fuel our emergent curricula, to the thoughtful documentation and displays of student work.
As the parent of a graduate, I know first-hand how the foundation laid here at Columbus helped make my daughter, Marlow, into a kind and inclusive friend and a creative and confident student.
