For four years, Emily has been a vital member of the Columbus Pre-School community, where she is dedicated to fostering a rich environment for Spanish language learning. Growing up in a Spanish-speaking home, her passion for the language was further cultivated through her experience in dual language schooling. She strives to create a welcoming atmosphere where children can explore and engage with the Spanish language in meaningful ways.
I am excited to introduce you to the many wonderful things about Columbus Pre-School that made me want to join as director 12 years ago.
Our sun-drenched classrooms, gymnastics studio, and large outdoor space provide diverse experiences that support every aspect of child development. Our nurturing, dedicated early childhood educators deeply respect children, and it shows, from the care put into the aesthetics and functionality of our classrooms, to the provocations set up to spark creativity, from the way students’ ideas fuel our emergent curricula, to the thoughtful documentation and displays of student work.
As the parent of a graduate, I know first-hand how the foundation laid here at Columbus helped make my daughter, Marlow, into a kind and inclusive friend and a creative and confident student.
