ASSISTANT TEACHER
Kristin is excited to bring her decades of experience with children to Columbus Pre School this year. She has worked with kids as a gymnastics coach, nanny, and most recently as an aerial arts instructor. A lifelong doodler, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and master’s degree in Fine Art in Painting. She maintains a studio practice where she that she is looking forward to sharing with the school’s littlest artists.
I am excited to introduce you to the many wonderful things about Columbus Pre-School that made me want to join as director 15 years ago.
Our sun-drenched classrooms, gymnastics studio, and large outdoor space provide diverse experiences that support every aspect of child development. Our nurturing, dedicated early childhood educators deeply respect children, and it shows, from the care put into the aesthetics and functionality of our classrooms, to the provocations set up to spark creativity, from the way students’ ideas fuel our emergent curricula, to the thoughtful documentation and displays of student work.
As the parent of a graduate, I know first-hand how the foundation laid here at Columbus helped make my daughter, Marlow, into a kind and inclusive friend and a creative and confident student.
