Robin has a bachelors degree in psychology from The George Washington University. This is her second year working as an assistant teacher at Columbus Pre-School. She first entered the school as a parent almost ten years ago! Robin has 2 children ages 16 and 13. She misses having little ones at home and is so excited to be working with the 2’s and 3’s. Robin is overjoyed to be part of a child’s first introduction to school. She values a nurturing environment with a child-led curriculum.
I am excited to introduce you to the many wonderful things about Columbus Pre-School that made me want to join as director 15 years ago.
Our sun-drenched classrooms, gymnastics studio, and large outdoor space provide diverse experiences that support every aspect of child development. Our nurturing, dedicated early childhood educators deeply respect children, and it shows, from the care put into the aesthetics and functionality of our classrooms, to the provocations set up to spark creativity, from the way students’ ideas fuel our emergent curricula, to the thoughtful documentation and displays of student work.
As the parent of a graduate, I know first-hand how the foundation laid here at Columbus helped make my daughter, Marlow, into a kind and inclusive friend and a creative and confident student.
