Ms. Beckford has over 20 years experience in early care and education. As a seasoned educator Mrs. Beckford has served in independent settings, Montessori and progressive education settings as well as the New York City Department of Education. She is trained in childhood development assessment and early care education by way of CUNY and has applied her skills over the years to develop a lifelong love of learning, exploration and independent self monitoring and problem solving for both bio and neurologically diverse children. Mrs. Beckford’s love of learning and watching the light of new knowledge twinkle in the eyes of her students is infectious and inspiring. From manners to early reading students leave her classroom enriched and excited for more.
