Anya is an assistant teacher at Columbus who has been working with kids ages 4-12 for almost 10 years. After finishing her degree at Brooklyn College, will go on to earn her master’s in Early Childhood and Special Education.
Ashley is our lead 3s PM teacher this year after joining us in the past for summer camp. Before Columbus, Ashley was a lead teacher at another NYC preschool. Ashley began her teaching career in Shanghai, China
Elise has returned for another year in our 3s program as an assistant teacher. Elise is perfectly suited to explore poetry and dramatic arts with student, bringing her love for acting, improvising, and teaching all together.
Ilana is excited to join us for her first year as lead teacher at Columbus. Ilana earned her master’s degree from Bank Street, and brings her wealth of knowledge and her 6 years of teaching experience to her 3s/4s class this year.
Josie joins us after her time as art teacher and pre-k teacher at Middle Way School in Saugerties, NY. She graduated from Bard College with a degree in Studio Arts, her core concentration being on sculptural ceramics and abstract expressionism.
Stacey found her way to a lead 2s/3s teacher at Columbus via Columbia University’s Teacher College, where Stacey’s earning her degree in Curriculum and Teaching at Columbia University’s Teachers College.
This is Travis’ 9th year as a teacher at Columbus. Travis has moved from assistant in the 2s class to lead 3s teacher after earning his master’s degree from Bank Street College of Education in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special and General Education.
